**Paralegal Position**

**Compensation:** $60,000 - $75,000 per year + Overtime + Discretionary Bonus

**Location:** Great Neck, New York, United States (Hybrid)

**Work Schedule:** Hybrid 4/1 (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

**Hours:** 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM with paid overtime

**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our Legal team, including the General Counsel and Associate Attorney. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking for a rewarding career in real estate law.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist with real estate closings
- Handle the formation and dissolution of various legal entities (real estate and partners)
- Manage corporate governance tasks, including maintaining corporate books and state filings, and staying updated on changes to state corporations laws and regulations
- Draft various legal documents such as Corporate Resolutions, Powers of Attorneys, Affidavits, etc.
- Coordinate between Accounting, Finance, Acquisition, Tax, Insurance, and Legal departments during property acquisitions and depositions
- Liaise with outside law firms
- Provide administrative support to the legal department as needed
- Manage calls and act as the General Counsel's gatekeeper, handling contacts and clients

**Requirements:**

- 4+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- New York Notary Public Certification or willingness to apply for a NY Notary License
