Position: Remote Truss Design Manager

We are excited to invite applications for a Remote Truss Design Manager to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll lead a talented group of ten truss designers, guiding them through the design process while ensuring that our truss designs are safe, structurally sound, and meet all project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a team of 10 truss designers, providing mentorship and direction throughout their design efforts.
Analyze project specifications to effectively assign tasks to team members, ensuring clarity and focus.
Review and approve all truss designs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and structural integrity.
Utilize specialized software to create 3D models of trusses and conduct simulations to evaluate their strength and stability.
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to align truss designs with overall project requirements.
Offer technical support to project teams and clients as needed, ensuring seamless communication and understanding.
Stay informed about industry standards and best practices in truss design to maintain our competitive edge.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in truss design and analysis.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of designers.
Proficiency in specialized software for truss design and simulation.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams and clients.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite meetings and inspections.
