Job Description

The Sales Tax Accountant position in Melville NY offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to ensure compliance obligations are met efficiently accurately and on time while effectively minimizing the companys sales tax liabilities. This role is a 3month contract and requires inoffice work for one week each month specifically during the second or third week preferably before the 20th.

  • Prepare review and file sales and use tax returns for multiple states using Vertex to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.

  • 35 years of multistate sales tax accounting experience
  • Experience researching tax rules and regulations for products and services
