### **Job Description:**
We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about helping people secure their financial futures. As a Retirement Specialist, you will assist LAUSD employees in understanding their pension options, benefits, and financial strategies to ensure a smooth transition into retirement.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
* Educate LAUSD employees on their retirement benefits, including CalSTRS and CalPERS.
* Provide personalized consultations to help clients create a retirement plan that fits their needs.
* Assist with paperwork and the retirement application process.
* Use Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar) and other digital tools to manage client interactions and documentation.
* Stay informed on retirement policies and changes that impact LAUSD employees.
* Conduct virtual or in-person meetings at your convenience.
### **Qualifications:**
* Strong desire to help people retire with dignity and confidence.
* Comfortable using Google Workspace, email, and other online applications.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
* No prior financial or retirement planning experience required—training provided!
