Your Role as an AP Physics Tutor:

We are looking for talented and motivated educators to provide online instruction in the following AP Physics courses:

AP Physics C: Mechanics
AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
Flexible Tutoring Schedule Options:

Option 1:

8:00 PM - 11:00 PM (EST)
Three times per week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday)
Minimum 7.5 hours per week

Option 2:

8:00 PM - 11:00 PM (EST)
Two times per week (Monday & Wednesday)
Minimum 5 hours per week

Qualifications & Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area; a Master's, Ph.D., or EdD is preferred
At least 1 year of teaching experience in the relevant subject area, preferably in an IB high school environment
Availability for at least 2-3 time slots per week
A cooperative and enthusiastic approach to working with staff and students
A passion for teaching, with a flexible schedule that accommodates evenings and weekends

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver personalized online instruction in one-on-one or small group settings (2-6 students)
Create and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of each student
Prepare class materials in advance to ensure a thorough understanding of the subject matter
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
Offer post-class support by developing customized study plans, addressing individual learning objectives, and providing additional resources when needed
