Job Title: Executive Chef


Location: Naperville IL

Employment Type: Fulltime

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all culinary operations at Hunt Valley Country Club ensuring the highest standards of food quality presentation and safety.
• Lead mentor and manage the kitchen team ensuring effective training and development of all staff.
• Manage daily kitchen activities including food preparation menu planning and ordering of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen operates within budget controlling food costs labor and other operational expenses.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness health and safety standards ensuring compliance with sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with management to develop seasonal and special event menus tailored to the needs and preferences of members and guests.
• Foster a positive collaborative work environment to ensure team members feel valued and supported.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar senior culinary management role.
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations including food safety inventory management and cost control.
• Ability to create innovative highquality menus and maintain consistent food standards.
• A passion for providing exceptional culinary experiences and excellent guest service.
