Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our culinary team at Socialize. As a Chef you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations menu planning and food preparations.

Duties

• Plan and create tasteful menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
• Train supervise and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and food handling practices.
• Manage inventory order supplies and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Ensure consistency in taste presentation and quality of all dishes served.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or banquet setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Experience in kitchen management with the ability to lead a team effectively.
• A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with various cooking techniques and cuisines is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
