Job Description

Overall Summary

A bumper to bumper, master certified technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of the automobile without supervision. In most cases, are leaders in the shop and chosen to support the development of other technicians when needed. At times, may be called upon to interface with customers in various capacities.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Main Shop Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles, ensuring the highest quality of service for our customers.
• Conduct thorough diagnostics and repair tasks on a range of vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance and service procedures
• Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate work orders
• Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Stay updated on industry advancements and technical training• Factory Certification (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Main Shop Technician in an automotive dealership
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
