Job Overview

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for a variety of material functions including the accurate stocking, counting, moving, and issuing of parts and supplies to warehouse and service departments. Must be self-motivated, a strong team player, and enjoy working in a fun fast-paced growth environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the performance and oversight of all functions of the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, picking, scanning, loading, product allocation, transportation, and safety training.
• Maintains all inventories, components, and finished goods to ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
• Responsible for special projects and other duties as applied.
• Set work priorities and direct day-to-day activities of 1 to 2 warehouse associates
• Interfaces with central warehouse, suppliers, and field service to ensure timely and accurate receipt and issuance of all material.
• Responsible for maintaining a quality work environment including good housekeeping (i.e.).
• Develop business relationships to ensure communication and efficient operations with third-party vendors

Skills/Requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical examination and assessment.
• 3-5 years experience in a warehouse/distribution center
• Able to pass forklift and company vehicle certifications.
• Hardworking and self-motivated
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb balance, talk, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 250 pounds with or without assistance. Work is primarily conducted indoors, in a non-climate-controlled environment.
