About San Juan SC:

San Juan Soccer Club is one of the most respected and competitive youth soccer programs in the country. Ranked in the national Top 25, we are trusted to develop the next generation of top-level talent. We’ve recently expanded our player pathway with the launch of both men’s and women’s USL pre-professional teams, bringing in some of the nation's top Division I and Division II athletes to write the next chapter. We compete at a high level, we develop real talent, and we take pride in telling that story the right way. This summer, we’re hiring a Seasonal Video Content Producer to help us do exactly that by creating content that captures the identity, ambition, and energy behind everything we’re building.

Position Summary:

This summer, San Juan SC is bringing on a Seasonal Video Content Producer to help capture the heartbeat of our USL pre-professional teams. From matchday energy to off-the-field moments that show who our players really are, you’ll create impactful video content that gives our athletes and club the spotlight they’ve earned. Your work will shape how people experience the journey – raw, real, and perfectly cut for the nightly doomscroll.  Note: This position does not include housing. However, any travel expenses incurred while covering assigned matches or club events will be reimbursed.

Responsibilities:

  • Film men’s and women’s USL matches, including home games and assigned away fixtures, and transform game footage into engaging, social-ready content.
  • Capture compelling visuals from training sessions, player interviews, and community events, producing dynamic cuts optimized for social media platforms.
  • Produce engaging short-form content tailored for social platforms such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
  • Create and edit video projects aligned with the club’s brand identity, contributing to storyboarding and execution from concept to final cut.
  • Organize, edit, and deliver raw and finished content within tight deadlines.
  • Execute creative concepts with a distinct, cinematic vision and storytelling approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong editing skills with a portfolio that demonstrates cinematic storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable editing software.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working independently as well as within a collaborative creative team.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and travel to assigned matches.
  • Genuine passion for storytelling and the culture surrounding the players and the club.
  • Experience filming sports at the collegiate or professional level.
  • Strong personal reel or portfolio that reflects creative style and technical ability.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.
  • Hands-on access to live match environments throughout Northern California.
  • Opportunities to build a professional portfolio with real-time, high-level content.
  • Direct mentorship and guidance from experienced media and marketing professionals.
  • Potential for future freelance, contract, or seasonal work with the club and its partners.
