Augmentjobs is seeking a Senior Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Investment Banking Associate to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced banking professional to work with major clients within the financial services sector. As a Senior Associate you will be responsible for leading and executing transactions managing client relationships and mentoring junior team members. This role requires a deep understanding of the financial institutions sector including banks insurance companies asset managers and other financial service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead deal execution for M&A capital raising and other financial advisory transactions.

• Perform financial analysis valuation modeling and due diligence.

• Coordinate with clients legal and regulatory advisors to ensure smooth transaction processes.

• Prepare pitch books presentations and other marketing materials.

• Manage client relationships offering strategic advice on financial solutions.

• Supervise and mentor junior associates and analysts providing training and guidance.

• Work closely with senior bankers to help drive business development initiatives.

• Financial Modeling Ability to build and maintain complex financial models.

• M&A Transactions Experience in M&A execution including valuation due diligence and negotiation.

• Client Management Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships.

• Deal Execution Expertise in managing all aspects of deal execution from start to finish.

• Valuation Techniques Knowledge of various valuation methodologies including DCF precedent transactions and comparable companies.

• Regulatory Knowledge Understanding of financial regulations and industry standards within the FIG sector.

• Industry Expertise Indepth knowledge of the financial institutions sector including banking insurance and asset management.

• Team Leadership Experience managing mentoring and coaching junior team members.

• Communication Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills for clientfacing interactions.

• Problem Solving Ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions.

• A Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or a related field. An MBA or CFA designation is preferred but not required.
