Our lab investigates the fundamental mechanisms driving gynecologic cancer development, specifically focusing on the interplay between epigenetic and transcriptional regulatory processes. Qualifications Epigenetic and transcriptional regulation of gynecologic cancers The St. Laurent Lab at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana Farber Brigham Cancer Center is seeking a highly qualified laboratory researcher to join our vibrant research team as a Research Associate. Our lab investigates the fundamental mechanisms driving gynecologic cancer development, specifically focusing on the interplay between epigenetic and transcriptional regulatory processes. Our research employs a multidisciplinary approach, integrating techniques such as liquid handling robotics and automation, epigenomics, utilizing clinical samples, ex vivo models, murine models, cutting-edge sequencing technologies and bioinformatic data analysis. We collaborate extensively with researchers at Harvard Medical School, MIT, and internationally. Our goal is to significantly improve the lives of patients by treating and preventing gynecologic cancer. Our environment is rigorous and collaborative, bringing together passionate individuals who are making an impact. Research Associates will benefit from direct mentorship from the Principal Investigator Dr. St. Laurent, postdoctoral fellows, and senior clinicians. We are looking for individuals with a growth mindset, great attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively to solve problems in preclinical research and development. The position is ideal for a candidate with a solid understanding of laboratory benchwork who can effectively respond to changes and is resourceful, flexible, and driven to achieve in a dynamic environment.
