Job Title: MRI Technologist (000032)

Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373

Schedule: Contract | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 hours/week | 5 days/week

Note: Alternating weekends and holidays required

Pay Range: $55 – $60/hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in a fast-paced clinical environment in Elmhurst, NY. The successful candidate will perform high-quality MRI scans, ensure patient safety and comfort, and utilize GE and Philips MRI systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI procedures following established imaging protocols

• Operate GE and Philips MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and comfort during exams

• Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to support accurate diagnostics

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient imaging records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

• Complete onboarding, including EPIC systems training during a required 2-week orientation (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI technology

• Certification and registration in MRI by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)

• Demonstrated proficiency in using GE and Philips MRI equipment

• Strong communication skills and professionalism

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)

• In-person interview availability is required
