Job Title : Quality Manager
Location : Berwyn, PA
Hours/Schedule : Monday to Friday 8 to 5
Type:  Direct Hire

Join a growing team for a brand new Quality Manager position! This role involves supporting the quality control function within the company while ensuring policies like Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are executed. SQF, HACCP, and PCQI certifications are an added plus!

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are executed
• Oversight of QA Techs and Sanitation Team
• Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
• Provide leadership on quality and food safety programs
• Ensure product is processed to company HACCP/HARPC programs
• Responsible for informing Quality Management of Food Safety
• Ensure training of facility personnel on food safety system elements as required
• Aid in hosting visitors or function as the contact for audits

Requirements:

• 2 years supervisory experience in quality assurance
• Minimum 5 years QA experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Leadership/Management/Supervisory experience
• Must be flexible with work schedule to meet the needs of operations
• Leadership Capabilities
• Knowledge of OSHA and other governmental regulations
• Bachelor's Degree
• Quality Assurance Certification in SQF, HACCP, and PCQI
