Job Description:
Augmentjobs is seeking a highly motivated FIG (Financial Institutions Group) Investment Banking Associate to join our growing team. As a FIG Investment Banking Associate you will be responsible for supporting the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) capital raising and strategic advisory services for clients in the financial services sector including banks insurance companies asset managers and other financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of M&A transactions including conducting financial analysis preparing presentations and performing due diligence

• Participate in financial modeling valuation analysis and market research

• Prepare client presentations pitch materials and other transactionrelated documentation

• Assist in managing client relationships and contribute to business development efforts

• Work closely with senior bankers in structuring deals preparing reports and negotiating terms

• Provide support in managing the overall transaction process including coordinating with legal tax and accounting teams

• Stay uptodate on market trends industry developments and regulatory changes impacting the financial services industry

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or related field (MBA or CFA is a plus)

• 2 to 4 years of experience in investment banking with a focus on financial institutions or FIGrelated transactions

• Strong understanding of financial modeling valuation techniques and accounting principles

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) and financial modeling software

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Skills:
Financial Modeling ability to construct complex financial models for M&A and valuation analysis
Valuation Techniques experience with DCF precedent transactions and comparable company analysis
M&A Execution knowledge of deal structuring due diligence and postdeal integration
Market Research capacity to analyze industry trends and competitor performance
Client Relationship Management ability to communicate effectively with clients and senior stakeholders
Analytical Skills strong ability to analyze financial data and provide insights
Attention to Detail precision in preparing financial reports and transaction documentation
Communication Skills excellent written and verbal communication for client presentations and internal reports
Time Management ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
Team Collaboration working efficiently with crossfunctional teams and senior bankers
