• Working Schedule : 8a-5p EST
• Salary Range : 1,500-1,800 USD Monthly ( the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

Our client is a fast-growing real estate company dedicated to providing exceptional services to their diverse clientele. They pride themselves on their commitment to excellence, integrity, and customer/client satisfaction. As they expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview: 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper from Latin America to support our clients growing real estate business. The majority of this role will focus on managing the financial records for properties using AppFolio Property Management software. While expertise in U.S. tax accounting is a significant plus, the primary responsibility will be bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full management of AppFolio, including reconciling property bank accounts, auditing transactions, and categorizing all income and expenses with accuracy.
• Analyzing P&L reports to be able to establish and locate trends. Thinking above and beyond to make the necessary edits as needed. 
• Journalize operating expenses, operating income, rent collections, paying bills, and creating financial reports.
• General Ledger management—manual entry of credits and debits, ensuring complete accuracy across all financial records.
• Daily financial reporting on key metrics: revenue, expenses, operating and trust account balances, and general data.
• Prepare and maintain financial records for annual tax preparation, including audits and compliance with all financial standards.
• Weekly/monthly invoicing, applying payments, issuing credits, handling collections, and managing financial requests.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in an Accountant position where you handled the financials strictly on your own and were dedicated to 100% accuracy
• 3+ years of experience directly in real estate 
• 3+ years experience in AppFolio Property Management Software 
• 3+ years of full management of QuickBooks
• 3+ years of experience with Year End Journal Entries
• Exceptional attention to detail—you’ll track down every discrepancy and ensure our books are spotless.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and ensure every transaction is categorized correctly (e.g., separating software, marketing, and hardware expenses).
