LaSalle Network is currently partnered with a Chicago-based Accredited University that's in need of an Associate System Administrator to join their team. This individual will be supporting our client's internal teams and will be performing Windows-based, System Administration tasks primarily, but will also collaborate and work alongside various other teams that include, but are not limited to, NOC, Data Back-Ups and Recovery.



Associate System Administrator Responsibilities:

• This individual will be performing Windows Office365-based, junior level systems administration. This includes a lot of work within Active Directory (Basic security policies; Adds/Removes; Resets, etc.), will be involved in server (i.e., back-up and recovery processes/procedures) and NOC related work, as well
  
• Doesn't need to have formal Network Administration/Engineering experience, more so have the familiarity and understanding of networking fundamentals/principles, so they can communicate effectively with those types of individuals
  
• Be involved in documentation related work, will be working with both hardware and software (mainly on the hardware side though), and they offer training opportunities to allow these individuals to stay up to date on current technologies and trends
  
• Important Note: We are not looking for someone that has been in support for 6-years and looking to make the jump into Systems Administration for this role. Rather, someone that has been performing Systems Administration related tasks for the last 2-years and looking to grow more so into higher levels of administration and/or into Systems Engineering
  

Associate System Administrator Requirements:

• 2+ years of formal Systems Administration experience in Windows/Microsoft365 Environments
  
• Well-rounded experience in Active Directory, AzureAD and/or EntraID
  
• Understanding of fundamentals/principles of networking, data back-ups and recovery
  
• Physical to Virtual Server Migration Experience
  
• Must have a 4-year College Degree, Bachelor's or higher
